DESCRIPTION:◾ SUPPE&MUCKE 2016 ◾ \nAm 10. September findet in der Scharnweberstraße (Friedrichshain) das 8. Suppe&Mucke Straßenfest. Von 14.00 bis 22.00 Uhr gibt es Live Musik\, politische Diskussionen\, Theaterperformance\, Mitmachaktionen für Groß und Klein und natürlich verteilen alle teilnehmenden Projekte wieder Suppe an ihren Ständen. \nLetztes Jahr waren über 8.000 Besucher*innen zu Gast und auch dieses Jahr wird es wieder bunt\, wenn sich politische und soziokulturelle Projekte\, Künstler*innen und Musiker*innen einer breiten Öffentlichkeit präsentieren. \n2009 wurde das unkommerzielle Fest in der Scharnweberstraße zum ersten Mal gefeiert. Da der Vetomat (Scharnweberstraße 35)\, wie viele andere kulturelle Freiräume und selbstverwaltete Veranstaltungsorte in Friedrichshain\, verdrängt wird und am Ende des Jahres schließen muss\, kehren wir zu unserem ursprünglichen Veranstaltungsort zurück\, um auf die zunehmend erschwerten Rahmenbedingungen für selbstorganisierte\, gemeinnützige Tätigkeiten in Friedrichshain und Berlin aufmerksam zu machen. \nDer Suppe&Mucke e.V. freut sich besonders über die Zusammenarbeit mit Friedrichshain Hilft\, die einen aktiven Beitrag zur Festdurchführung leisten. DESCRIPTION:From the depths of the Spree and its canals come the River Rats ! They drag two guitars\, double-bass and violin through the gloomy tunnels of Berlin to their moon-lit sessions. Influenced by the diminished lines of Django Reinhardt\, the heart of the variété française and the spirit of old-time country and blues\, the Rats wander between the ragged niches of Kreuzberg’s street jams and the glamorous grand theater. With members from Italy\, France and Germany\, the River Rats combine the north and the south\, dark and light\, contemplation and euphoria. \nThis will be the first big concert in our new band setup.
